NOAA's Integrated Surface Database

Description

The Integrated Surface Database (ISD) contains global hourly and synoptic climate data from numerous sources. The database includes over 35,000 stations worldwide. Some records date back as far as 1901. Substantial growth in the station network occurred in the 1940s and early 1970s. Over 14,000 stations are currently active.
